5 Rivers Bistro & Bar is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Barista / Front of House All-Rounder to join our team.
Duties
- Preparing quality espresso coffee and café beverages
- Dialling in coffee and milk texturing
- Basic latte art
- Taking customer orders
- Table service and food running
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Using the POS and processing payments
- Maintaining a clean coffee station and front-of-house area
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Previous commercial barista experience
- Confidence using a commercial espresso machine and grinder
- Strong milk-texturing skills
- Café or restaurant front-of-house experience
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, well presented and able to work under pressure
- Availability across weekdays and weekends
Barista training, strong latte-art skills and experience in a busy breakfast or brunch venue will be highly regarded.
