About the opportunity

As Branch Manager, you'll take ownership of establishing and growing the Newcastle operation, driving commercial performance while developing a strong local presence.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Build the business: Develop new client relationships, identify sales opportunities and grow market share across Newcastle and the Hunter region.
- Lead and develop a team: Recruit, coach and mentor a high-performing recruitment team as the branch grows.
- Drive profitability: Take responsibility for branch revenue, budgets, costs and overall financial performance.
- Develop client partnerships:



Build long-term relationships with key clients across transport, logistics and associated industries.
- Oversee recruitment delivery: Ensure effective temporary recruitment operations, workforce supply and service delivery.
- Manage compliance: Maintain an understanding of relevant employment legislation, industry awards and recruitment processes.
- Deliver results: Establish clear performance expectations and create a culture focused on accountability, service and commercial success.

About you

You'll be an experienced recruitment professional with the commercial drive and leadership capability to build a successful operation.

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Previous experience in temporary recruitment, ideally within transport, logistics, industrial or blue-collar recruitment.
- Recruitment leadership, branch management or sales management experience.
- A strong track record in business development and winning new clients.
- Experience managing budgets, profitability and branch performance.
- The ability to recruit, lead and develop a successful team.
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and industry awards.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management and problem-solving skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, resilience and a genuine desire to build long-term success.





You'll be comfortable balancing strategic leadership with a hands-on approach to business development and recruitment when required.
