Casual Barista — Flower Child | Chatswood & Castle Towers

We’re looking for experienced casual baristas to join our teams at Flower Child Chatswood and Castle Towers.

Someone who can confidently run the coffee machine, take pride in every cup, and still make a guest’s day with a smile when service gets busy.

We move rapid, communicate clearly, and look after each other on shift. No egos — just good coffee, good service, and good people.

What we’re looking for

- Confident handling 5–6 kg of beans a day solo, while keeping coffee quality consistent.
- Strong coffee fundamentals — dialling in, adjusting the grind, consistent extraction, milk texture, and presentation.
- A warm, friendly approach. You enjoy greeting guests, remembering regulars, and making people feel welcome.
- The ability to keep your pace, standards, and positive attitude through a busy service.
- A clean, organised workspace and good communication with the floor team.
- Someone reliable, open to feedback, and ready to help the team.

What you’ll be doing

- Making consistently great coffee throughout the day.

- Keeping an eye on taste, recipes, and presentation as service moves.
- Bringing friendly, attentive service to every guest interaction.
- Keeping the coffee station clean, stocked, and ready for the next rush.
- Helping with other bar duties and supporting the team as needed.
