Casual, Part-Time and Full-Time Opportunities
Bethesda Health Care is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Registered Nurses with Scrub/Scout expertise to join our perioperative team supporting nine operating theatres.
These opportunities are suited to professionals seeking casual or part-time hours, rather than full-time employment, offering flexibility while contributing to a high-performing clinical workplace.
Working within a dedicated theatre team, you will primarily support orthopaedic procedures, with the opportunity to rotate across other specialty lists as required. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated alignment with Bethesda Health Care values
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum 12 months Scrub/Scout experience in a hospital theatre setting
- Proven experience or strong exposure to orthopaedic procedures
- Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Strong understanding of best practice in perioperative nursing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements
- Theatre operations: Monday to Friday
- Shift patterns: Variable, including afternoon shifts
- Employment type: Casual and part-time hours available
