El Dorado Recycling is a growing recycling company specialising in bin hire, construction waste removal, and recycling services across Melbourne.

We are seeking a highly organised, motivated and reliable Allocator to join our team at our Laverton North facility.

This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating daily operations, problem-solving and working in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and allocate daily skip bin and hook bin deliveries, collections and changeovers.
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Manage incoming enquiries and bin requests.
- Communicate with drivers, clients and site supervisors regarding bookings and delivery schedules.
- Monitor bin availability, locations and movements.
- Manage last-minute booking changes, delays and urgent requests.
- Maintain accurate records of bin movements, job allocations and completed deliveries.
- Work closely with management and yard staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with general administrative and operational duties as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in transport allocation, logistics, dispatch or waste management (highly regarded).




- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using computers, scheduling systems and Microsoft Office.
- Good knowledge of Melbourne suburbs and road networks.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience allocating skip bins, hook bins or trucks within the waste management industry will be highly advantageous.
