Food Production & Warehouse Assistant – Afternoon Shifts

Join Tasty Fresh Food Co.’s welcoming afternoon team, preparing fresh food and packing products to keep our lunch vans stocked for the next day.

Hours and availability

- Sunday: shifts between 1pm–7pm.
- Monday–Thursday: shifts between 1.30pm–7.30pm.
- Average 20–25 hours per week across 3–5 shifts, generally 3–6 hours each.
- Later finishes may be required depending on workload.

Reliability is essential. You must commit to at least three shifts each week, arrive on time and contribute throughout your shift. Availability and reliability for additional shifts is valued.

What you’ll do

- Prepare, assemble, portion, pack and label food and bakery products.
- Follow recipes, work instructions and food safety procedures.
- Operate production equipment and conveyors, with training provided.
- Pick orders, handle and rotate stock, and keep equipment and work areas clean.

You may work across Production, Bakery and Warehouse, depending on what’s needed each shift. We will train you across all areas.

About you

You’re reliable, willing to learn and have strong attention to detail.



You can follow instructions, work independently and contribute to a team. Food production or warehouse experience is helpful, with training provided.

The work involves repetitive tasks, extended standing, bending, reaching and lifting up to 15kg. You must be comfortable working in cool areas, including a 3–9°C cold room, and handling products containing meat, dairy and gluten.
