Humble Cafe is a modern specialty cafe in Southport. We are passionate about great coffee, quality food and genuine hospitality.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive Barista / Cafe All Rounder to join our team.
About the Role
This is an all rounder position, not just a barista role. You will work across coffee, customer service and general front of house duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consistent espresso based drinks and maintain coffee quality
- Dial in espresso and adjust grinders when required
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Take orders and process POS payments
- Serve food and drinks and pack takeaway orders
- Opening and closing duties
- Restocking and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
- Support the team wherever needed during busy periods
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year barista or cafe experience
- Confident with commercial espresso machines and milk texturing
- Basic latte art skills
- Friendly with strong customer service skills
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Fast, organised and able to multitask
- Reliable and punctual
- Available for early mornings, weekdays and weekends
- Current Australian working rights
