Are you an experienced Machine Operator, Forklift Operator, Steel Operator or Crane Operator and looking for a stable afternoon shift role with excellent pay?
We are seeking motivated and safety-focused operators to join a busy manufacturing operation producing reinforcing steel products. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing employment within an established industrial setting that values safety, quality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing machinery, production equipment and processing systems
- Produce reinforcing steel products to specification and quality standards
- Complete pre-start inspections and equipment checks
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot operational issues
- Ensure all production targets and quality requirements are achieved
- Load and handle finished products safely
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow workplace health,
safety and environmental procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively within a production team
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in one of the following: manufacturing, production, factory, steel processing, fabrication or industrial operations
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow work instructions and production schedules
Highly Regarded
- Overhead crane experience
- Mobile plant operation experience
- Manufacturing or steel industry experience
