About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. Depending on your experience, skills and interests, you could be involved in retail sales, customer service, pump repairs, workshop duties, field service and helping customers select and design effective water and irrigation systems.

You'll work alongside an experienced team, building your product knowledge and technical capabilities while helping deliver practical, reliable solutions for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing excellent customer service and practical technical advice.
- Selling pumps, irrigation products and associated equipment.




- Assisting customers with pump selection, flow rates, pressure requirements and system design.
- Diagnosing faults and undertaking pump repairs and maintenance, where applicable.
- Assisting with workshop and field service activities.
- Receiving, dispatching and managing stock.
- Picking and packing customer orders.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised showroom, warehouse and workshop.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
- Working collaboratively with the sales, service and workshop teams.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in pumps, irrigation, plumbing, rural supplies, mechanical servicing or a related industry.
- An understanding of pump systems, flow rates, pressure and water system design (highly regarded).
- Experience diagnosing faults and repairing pumps (preferred, but not essential for the right candidate).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- A current manual driver's licence.
