About Us
The Boatshed Woronora is a busy waterfront café located on the beautiful Woronora River. We're known for our great food, relaxed atmosphere and stunning location.
We're looking for an experienced and reliable Line Cook / Café Cook to join our friendly kitchen team as we head into our busiest season.
About the Role
You'll be working in a fast-paced café kitchen, preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confidently run the kitchen line during busy breakfast and lunch services.
- Prepare and cook dishes consistently to our menu standards.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during peak periods.
- Complete daily food preparation and maintain stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organised and protected kitchen.
- Work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a line cook or café cook.
- Is confident working independently on the line during busy services.
- Can handle pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Has experience preparing breakfast and lunch café dishes.
- Is reliable, punctual and a team player.
- Takes pride in food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Is available for weekday and weekend shifts.
