Full-time Plasterer required for Hopkins Plaster Studio Pty Ltd.

The Hopkins Plaster Studio is currently seeking a qualified full-time plasterer to join our team at 20 Swift Way, Dandenong South, VIC 3175.

We are looking for someone who is creative, organised, passionate and experienced as a plasterer.

The job description for Plasterer is as follows, and it is not an exhaustive list:

- Prepare wall and ceiling surfaces by measuring, marking and cutting for plastering, mixing and applying plaster and finishing materials.

- Liaising with the on-site installation team to confirm customer requirements

- Interpreting plans and blueprints to ensure that custom moulds will meet the requirements of the room and the building

- Mixing and applying plaster, cement and render to construct ornamental custom moulds, including but not limited to Acanthus Leaves, Architraves, Corbel Caps. Cornices, Dado Moulding, Domes, Enrichments, Fireplaces, Keystones, Niches, Pilasters, Roses, Straps and Vents

- Using a range of tools to shape smooth and level plaster surfaces, including but not limited to trowels, sponges,



sandpaper, jointing knives and float

- Applying relevant acoustic, fireproofing and insulating covers

- Adhering to all OHS requirements of the workplace

- Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement and render

- Creating decorative textures in finish coats

- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

Requirements:

- AQF Certificate III
- White Card
- Minimum 1-2 years of plastering experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
- Physically fit with the stamina for manual labour tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a solid team player
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety standards
