We look after residential apartment buildings and need dependable, detail-oriented people to keep common areas clean, protected, and welcoming. If you take pride in your work and like a clear routine, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
You’ll work as an independent cleaning professional. Sites are cleaned on a weekly schedule, with additional monthly deep-clean tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuum and mop all common areas, including tiled corridors, stairwells, carpet, and concrete floors
- Wipe down and polish the elevator
- Clean and wipe all hard surfaces, including handrails, cupboards, walls, doors, and apartment numbers
- Clean all high-touch points (door handles, lift buttons, light switches, handrails) with hospital-grade disinfectant
- Sweep or blow the front entrance area and driveway to remove leaves and debris
- Spray and wipe down intercoms and surrounding surfaces
- Remove cobwebs from the front of the building, fences, and driveway
Garage and Basement Car Park
- Spot sweep or blow the floor
- Remove litter and debris
- Remove cobwebs
Maintenance and Caretaking
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, or graffiti to management
- Clean car park areas and sweep the storage area
Bin Service
- Place bins out for collection on the scheduled day
- Return bins to the bin room after collection
Note: Bin collection days vary by site and will be confirmed when you’re assigned.
About You
- Some prior cleaning experience
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job
- Reliable transport preferred
- Valid Australian working rights
- A current Police Check (we can assist you with obtaining one)
- An ABN, or willingness to get one
