We are seeking two to three reliable, professional and well-presented Casual Security Officers to join our team at a historic 148-year-old multi-purpose event and lifestyle precinct. The precinct hosts a diverse range of events and activities throughout the year. This role is suited to security professionals who enjoy working in busy public environments, engaging respectfully with patrons and helping create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone.

Key responsibilities

Engage respectfully with patrons and help create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone

Work in busy, high-volume event environments

Communicate clearly and respectfully with patrons, staff and stakeholders

Remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations

Work as part of a team

Deliver a high standard of service and security

About you





Hold a current Queensland Security Provider licence with the Unarmed Security Guard and Crowd Controller subclass

Hold a current Blue Card

Hold a valid RSA

Hold a valid QLD driver licence

Be well presented and professional

Have a positive attitude and valuable work ethic

Be reliable, punctual and dependable

Be physically capable of walking and standing for extended periods

Demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and professional approach

Casual security work at a major event and lifestyle precinct - 25-30 hours per week for suitable candidates
