As a Regional Relief Driver, you will provide temporary operational coverage across any of our nine regional depots throughout Western Australia as required. When regional coverage is not needed, you will be based out of the Forrestfield depot.
This role offers plenty of variety and flexibility. You may spend several weeks supporting a regional branch, or you may be completing deliveries within the Perth metropolitan area. No two weeks are likely to be the same.
To succeed in this role, you will be reliable, professional, customer service -focused, willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and work away from Perth for periods between 1 - 6 weeks at a time . You will be adaptable, able to work independently, and comfortable operating in a range of locations and environments.
Essential Requirements
- Current unrestricted HR Driver's Licence
- Minimum 1 year experience operating HR / HC vehicles
- Proven multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience reversing and manoeuvring vehicles onto loading docks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and protected work practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good level of physical fitness,
as manual handling is required with every delivery
- Flexibility to travel and work across regional and metropolitan locations as needed
