Early Childhood Educators – Certificate III Qualified or Working Towards
Carlton & Belfield | Casual & Part-Time Opportunities | Full-Time Roles Commencing in 2027
Find your place in the SAGE family
At SAGE Early Learning Centres, we believe a happy, supported team creates a warm and nurturing workplace for children to thrive.
We are a family-owned and operated business, with centres in Carlton and Belfield, and we’re looking for caring, enthusiastic educators who hold, or are working towards, their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our team.
We’re proud of our high staff retention and the strong bonds our educators have formed. Our teams know one another, support each other and share a commitment to the children and families in their care. We’re looking for educators who would love to become part of that community, contribute their own ideas and grow with us.
Whether you’re building your skills while studying, seeking casual or part-time work, or planning your next full-time role, we’d love to hear from you.
Opportunities available
- Casual educators to join our staffing pool and become familiar, trusted faces across our centres.
- Part-time educators seeking an ongoing role within a supportive team.
- Full-time educators interested in commencing with us in 2027.
All applicants must be willing and able to work across both our Carlton and Belfield centres, if and when required, to support our teams and operational needs.

- Room to learn and contribute: Build your confidence and skills through mentoring, professional development and opportunities to share your ideas.
- Worker Retention Payment: Benefit from increased wages through our participation in the Australian Government’s Worker Retention Payment program.
- Meaningful relationships: Get to know our children and families and experience the satisfaction of helping children learn, grow and feel they belong.
About the role
Working alongside your Room Leader and fellow educators, you will:
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children and respond thoughtfully to their individual needs.
- Help create engaging, inclusive, play-based learning experiences guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Contribute to observations, documentation and reflection on children’s learning.
- Maintain active supervision and support safe, healthy and welcoming learning environments.
- Communicate openly and professionally with families and colleagues.
- Uphold child safety practices, service policies and professional standards.
- Bring enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
About you
You will have:

- A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- Current approved First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
- Relevant approved child protection training and a strong commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing.
- An understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standard, or a willingness to build this knowledge as you study.
- A caring approach, clear communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
- A desire to build positive relationships and become a valued member of our SAGE family.
