Position: Café or Restaurant Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)

Salary: $79,500 per annum plus superannuation

About Us

Burrito Bar is a modern Mexican restaurant located in Maroochydore, Queensland. We offer a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes in a vibrant and welcoming dining environment.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Café or Restaurant Manager to oversee our daily restaurant operations and ensure high standards of customer service, food quality and business performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Supervise, train and coordinate restaurant staff.
- Organise staff rosters and monitor employee performance.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, inventory and supplier relationships.
- Monitor restaurant budgets, operating costs and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate restaurant services and ensure efficient food and beverage operations.
- Assist with menu planning,



pricing and promotional activities.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and overall restaurant presentation.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

- A minimum AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management or a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of relevant full-time work experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience managing staff, rosters, stock control and restaurant budgets.
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and hospitality industry standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant workplace.
