JVC Energy Australia is seeking an experienced Solar & Battery Installer to join our growing installation team.
The position is predominantly Sydney-based, working across residential and commercial solar and battery projects. We also deliver projects throughout regional NSW and Southern Queensland, so applicants must be willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
The Role
Your work will include:
- Residential and commercial solar PV installations
- Battery energy storage systems
- Hybrid and stand-alone/off-grid systems
- Rooftop and ground-mount solar
- Solar racking and module installation
- Cable management, conduit and cable tray
- Assisting electricians with electrical installation works
- Equipment preparation and site mobilisation
- Regional project work as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous solar and/or battery installation experience
- Is confident working on roofs and at heights
- Has experience with solar racking and module installation
- Produces neat, professional workmanship
- Is reliable,
punctual and works well in a team
- Has a strong approach to safety
- Holds a current White Card
- Holds a current driver's licence
- Is physically capable of installation work
- Is willing to travel for regional projects when required
Experience with battery systems, commercial solar, ground-mount or off-grid installations will be highly regarded.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
