As Program Manager – Risk-Response Bail Program, you’ll have the opportunity to help establish the program, shape how it operates and build a team and service approach that delivers meaningful outcomes for young people and their families.
- Make your mark on a new program – you’ll have the opportunity to influence how the service operates from the outset and embed high-quality, youth-centred practice.
- Lead work that makes a difference – your leadership will help young people navigate complex challenges, strengthen their connections with family and community, and achieve better outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships – you’ll work closely with Youth Justice, courts, police, schools, legal and cultural services and other community organisations to create coordinated responses for young people.

In this role you will:
- Lead the establishment and day-to-day operation of the Risk-Response Bail Program, creating a responsive, safe and effective service.

- Monitor program performance, quality and outcomes, using data and practice insights to continually strengthen the service.
About you

- You’re an experienced youth, community services or youth justice leader who is ready to take ownership of a program and help build it from the ground up.
- You understand the complexities affecting young people involved with the justice system and bring knowledge across areas such as child protection, homelessness, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, education, employment and family support.
- You’re confident leading people through complex and sometimes high-risk situations, while maintaining a trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally safe approach.
- You enjoy developing people and creating a team culture where staff feel supported, accountable and confident in their practice.
- You’re a natural relationship builder who can work effectively with government agencies, community organisations and other partners while keeping the needs of young people at the centre.
- You’re looking for more than maintaining an established service.
You want the challenge and opportunity of shaping something new and seeing the impact of what you’ve helped build.
