OASIS is gearing up for a massive peak season and an exciting 2027, and we're looking for hardworking, energetic Barbacks / Glassys to join our hospitality team aboard Brisbane's iconic floating entertainment venue.

Operating on the Brisbane River, OASIS is home to some of the city's biggest events, bringing together thousands of guests for unforgettable experiences on the water. From major corporate functions and private hires to headline DJs, international artists and some of Brisbane's biggest celebrations, there's always something happening at OASIS.

You'll have the opportunity to work across major events including New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Riverfire, alongside a packed calendar of entertainment, private functions and high-profile artist performances.

As a Barback / Glassy, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our three-level operation running smoothly. Working behind the scenes and alongside our bartending team, you'll help keep bars stocked, service areas organised and the entire operation ready to deliver fast, seamless service, even during our busiest events.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for:

- Keeping bars stocked with glassware, ice, beverages and essential supplies.
- Collecting, cleaning and rotating glassware efficiently throughout service.
- Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented bar and service areas.
- Supporting bartenders during busy periods to keep service moving.
- Assisting with bar set-up, restocking and pack-down.
- Working efficiently in a high-volume environment with large crowds and fast-paced service.
- Anticipating what the team needs and taking initiative without waiting to be asked.




- Working collaboratively across all three levels of the vessel.
- Contributing to a positive, energetic and team-focused workplace.

About You

We're looking for people who are:

- Proactive, organised and able to think on their feet.
- Strong team players who bring a positive attitude to every shift.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working in high-volume service.
- Available to work weekends, evenings and public holidays, including major event dates.

Previous experience in a busy bar, nightclub, events or hospitality environment is advantageous, but attitude, reliability and work ethic are what matter most.

A current RSA and valid Australian working rights are required.

Pay: $33.05 – $40.62 per hour
