Female Disability Support Worker – Community Access

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Female Disability Support Worker to provide community access and social participation support to a participant in Mandurah, WA.

The successful candidate will assist the participant with appointments, shopping, errands, and community activities while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and personal goals.

Flexible availability is essential, as shifts may vary depending on the participant's support needs and roster requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide community access and social participation support.
- Assist with appointments, shopping, errands, and community activities.
- Support safe vehicle entry and exit as required.
- Encourage independence and achievement of participant goals.
- Follow individual support plans and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding support needs and concerns.

Essential Requirements

- Previous disability or community support experience preferred.




- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Adaptable availability.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality support.
- A respectful, person-centred approach to supporting people with disability.

You are patient, dependable, and qualified, with a genuine passion for supporting people with disability. You can work independently, adapt to changing participant needs, and maintain professional boundaries while promoting participant choice and independence.
