We are currently seeking caring and motivated people to join our team as Personal Care Workers.

We are a small, Not-For-Profit 21 bed aged care facility in Barraba in Northern NSW.

Applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent. We are also happy to support he right people with the willingness to complete this certificate while working with us.
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Police Check (or the ability to obtain)
- Computer literacy and the ability to learn our computerised Resident Care system
- Be a team player and be able to understand and comply with written and verbal instructions including policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- A Commitment to providing exceptional care to the Residents of Richardson House

Your duties will include:

- Provide exceptional personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.




- Perform observations as indicated on care plan, and/or as directed by Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse.
- Document daily care notes and charting of Resident observations.
- Reporting of any changes in Resident’s condition to Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nure/Facility Manager and take instructions as given.
- Administer medications in a competent and protected manner in line with medication competencies.
- Delivery of care in accordance with relevant Shift Duties list.

Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.

All applicants will be checked to see if their name appears on the NDIS and Aged Care Banned Workers list prior to being offered a position.

Pay: From $36.23 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 38.0 per week
