About us
Swansea Hotel is a busy lakeside pub on the southern end of Lake Macquarie with a popular bistro, a quick-paced floor and a strong local crowd.

The role
We’re looking for casual front of house staff to join our bistro and floor team. Shifts include lunch and dinner services, evenings and weekends, so genuine availability across nights and weekends is essential. Applicants aged 16 and over are welcome — this is a great first job in hospitality.

You’ll be:

- Greeting and seating guests and managing bookings
- Taking food orders at the counter and on the floor
- Running meals and drinks to tables and clearing between courses
- Processing payments and handling cash and EFTPOS on the POS
- Keeping the bistro, dining areas and service stations clean, stocked and presentable
- Looking after regulars and delivering a friendly, professional service

Pay
$16.93–$33.85 per hour depending on age (Hospitality Award Level 2 casual rates), with Saturday, Sunday and public holiday penalty rates paid on top.

What you’ll need





- Aged 16 or over
- Previous front of house or waitstaff experience in a pub, club or restaurant preferred, but we’ll train the right person
- Confident with cash handling and POS, or willing to learn
- Reliable, punctual and able to keep pace during busy services
- Availability Friday and Saturday nights as a minimum
- Current NSW RSA competency card is advantageous but not essential
