About the Business

We are an established bricklaying business operating in Perth, Western Australia, providing professional bricklaying services for residential construction projects.

Due to ongoing projects and business requirements, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings and specifications.

* Measuring and calculating materials required for bricklaying projects.

* Preparing mortar and laying bricks and blocks according to building specifications.

* Constructing external and internal brick walls for residential buildings.

* Installing damp-proof courses and ensuring appropriate waterproofing requirements are met.

* Cutting and shaping bricks and blocks using appropriate tools and equipment.

* Checking horizontal and vertical alignment using levels and other measuring tools.

* Constructing and repairing brick and block structures.

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.





* Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian building standards and workplace safety requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

Applicants should demonstrate:

* Relevant bricklaying qualifications or equivalent practical experience.

* A minimum of 3 years of relevant bricklaying experience.

* Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

* Experience working on residential construction projects.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.

* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

* Reliability and valuable time management skills.
