Chef / Cook –Sporting Team & Venue Catering

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef/Cook to join our growing team. This diverse role involves preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for a professional sporting team, delivering corporate and event catering, and supporting food service operations across our sporting venues.

As part of an organisation operating multiple venues throughout Brisbane, you'll enjoy a varied workload that includes athlete meal preparation, corporate functions, event catering, and short-order service in a dynamic sporting environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Preparing and cooking meals for professional athletes and team staff
- Assisting with menu preparation, food production, and presentation
- Delivering high-quality short-order cooking during venue trading and events
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene standards
- Ensuring meals are prepared and served efficiently and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with high-volume food preparation and service
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Reliable, energetic, and professional attitude




- Flexibility to shift times

Desirable

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Experience catering for sports teams, large groups, or corporate events
- Knowledge of sports nutrition and performance-focused meals
- Responsible Service of Alcohol -RSA
