Zenviron is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major Wind Farm project in the Hunter Region, NSW.

This is a unique prospect to join a market-leading renewable energy contractor and contribute to the delivery of one of Australia's largest clean energy infrastructure projects. Initially based in our Newcastle office, you will support engineering, procurement and planning activities before transitioning to site during the construction phase.

As the Civil Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in coordinating and delivering major civil works packages, ensuring project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the delivery of civil construction works across the project lifecycle.
- Manage civil work packages including bulk earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, hardstands and underground services.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling and resource coordination to ensure works are delivered to programme.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure compliance and constructability.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site crews to achieve project milestones safely and efficiently.
- Manage RFIs, design changes, non-conformances and project documentation.
- Support cost control, forecasting and progress reporting activities.
- Monitor construction quality requirements, including inspections,



test plans and completion documentation.
- Identify and mitigate construction risks and support problem-solving across site activities.
- Foster a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Civil Project Engineer or Site Engineer delivering civil construction projects.
- Experience with earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements, concrete structures or associated civil infrastructure works.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, construction methodologies and engineering documentation.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with construction, engineering and commercial teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, resources or major construction projects will be highly regarded.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and willingness to be actively involved in site delivery.

The Opportunity

This position is ideally suited to candidates based in Newcastle, Hunter Valley,



Sydney, Dubbo or the Mid North Coast regions. Preference will be given to candidates who can initially work from the Newcastle office before transitioning to site during project delivery.

The project will operate on a DIDO basis, with camp accommodation provided. A competitive remuneration package will be offered, along with roster arrangements designed to maximise time at home.
