About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Fish & Chip Shop All-Rounder to join our busy team in Cockburn.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with hospitality, takeaway or quick-food experience who can confidently support daily operations, provide excellent customer service and help lead by example during busy shifts.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing, cooking, packing and serving fish and chip orders
- Taking orders, operating the POS system and handling payments accurately
- Delivering friendly, efficient customer service
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion control
- Supporting junior team members with training and guidance
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Managing stock, restocking supplies and monitoring product levels
- Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant kitchen and service area
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Staying calm and organised during busy service periods

About you

- Previous experience in a fish and chip shop, takeaway, café,



fast-food outlet or similar hospitality environment
- Confident with food preparation and customer service
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Available for afternoons, evenings and weekend shifts
- Food safety knowledge or certification is highly regarded
