An established Australian air conditioning and mechanical services company is seeking an experienced and highly organised Remote HVAC Service Manager to support and oversee a busy service operation.

The company has been in existence for 25 years and has over 20 staff.

This role is ideal for someone with strong HVAC technical knowledge who is looking to use their industry experience in a largely office-based, work-from-home position. The successful candidate will play a key role supporting field technicians, reviewing technical recommendations, preparing quotations, communicating with customers, and ensuring service jobs are managed effectively from start to finish.

Working remotely, you will provide operational and technical support across a range of commercial and residential air conditioning service activities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Reviewing incoming service jobs and technician reports
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians
- Preparing service quotations and repair recommendations
- Reviewing job notes for accuracy and completeness
- Liaising with customers regarding repairs, recommendations and quotations
- Monitoring job progress and ensuring timely completion
- Managing warranty and supplier-related matters
- Assisting with service planning and workflow coordination
- Developing and maintaining technical procedures and documentation
- Supporting the continuous improvement of service operations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Extensive experience in the HVAC,



refrigeration, or air conditioning industry
- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Leading Hand, Technical Support Specialist or Senior Technician
- Strong technical fault-finding knowledge across air conditioning systems
- Excellent written communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong administrative abilities
- Confidence using computers and business software
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A professional and proactive approach to problem-solving
