The Opportunity
Multiple Positions available for experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team at our Altona depot.
Shift: Afternoon (between 1-2pm start)
Location: Altona, VIC
Employment Type: Casual (transition to Full Time available for the right candidate)
You will be paid $40.00 Per Hour Plus Overtime at Award Rates and Allowances.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload PUD fleet and interstate linehaul equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with mass management and load restraint guidelines
- Verify and document consignments, weights, and dangerous goods compatibility
- Check and apply destination labels (state/on-forwarding etc.)
- Follow best-practice processes for compliance and continuous improvement
- Maintain high organisational standards and customer care
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in forklift operations and linehaul loading (essential)
- Strong understanding of mass management and load restraint principles
- Ability to follow WHS and CoR requirements
- Familiarity with handheld scanning equipment
- Dangerous goods knowledge (advantageous)
- A proactive, reliable, and safety-first attitude
