Weekend Team Leader
Bliss Garden & Giftware | Pialligo
Bliss Garden & Giftware is a family-owned nursery and gift shop in the beautiful surrounds of Pialligo.
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and hands-on person to join our team on Saturdays and Sundays. This is more than just a retail role. We're looking for someone who understands what makes Bliss special and can help bring that same feeling to our customers and team every weekend
You'll be someone who takes pride in the business, enjoys getting to know our customers, and is confident helping guide our younger team members. We value people who lead by example, use their initiative and are happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the store.
What we're looking for
- Retail experience is essential.
- A genuine, friendly and approachable nature.
- Someone honest, punctual and reliable.
- A natural ability to connect with customers and make them feel welcome.
- An interest in our products, plants, gifts and the style of merchandise we love.
- Pride in creating a welcoming, clean and well-organised store.
- Valuable communication skills and the confidence to help guide younger team members and delegate tasks when needed.
- A hands-on attitude, including a willingness to get your hands dirty and help customers with heavier stock.
- Availability for the vast majority of weekends.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership of their role, cares about the people around them and wants our customers to enjoy the same warm, personal experience at the weekend that they do throughout the week.
Why Bliss?
We're a small family business, and that's a big part of what makes us special. You'll be working with a close-knit team in one of Canberra's loveliest settings, surrounded by beautiful plants, gifts and homewares.
If you're someone who enjoys people, takes pride in their work and would love to help carry the spirit of Bliss through our weekends, we'd love to hear from you.
