About Prospect We are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join a busy manufacturing environment in Epping.
Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design and production of premium caravans and recreational vehicles.
This is a hands-on role, with approximately 20-30% of the day spent operating forklifts, while the remainder of the role will involve picking, general labouring and supporting the production team.
About the Role Your duties will include:
Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts for approximately 20-30% of the working day
Picking materials and components for production
Inwards goods and receiving stock
Preparing materials and components for production
General warehouse labouring
Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
Supplying materials to production as requiredLoading and unloading deliveries
Assisting with general production and warehouse duties
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven counterbalance forklift experience
Previous picking and warehouse experience
Experience in inwards goods
Previous manufacturing, production or labouring experience highly regarded
Comfortable performing manual and physical work throughout the day
Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking
Strong safety awareness
Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What's on Offer?
$ 37.00 per hour
Monday-Friday day shift
7:00am - 3:57pm
9-day fortnight
Every second Friday RDO
Approximately 20-30% forklift operation
Majority of the role focused on picking, labouring and production support
