What you’ll be doing

Running the kitchen, prep and service confidently during quieter periods





Teaming up with another cook during busier times to get quality food out quick

Cooking across grill, fryer and breakfast/lunch service

Following recipes, portion sizes and kitchen systems for consistent, great-looking plates

Keeping the kitchen clean, safe and ready for servicez

Managing stock, ordering, rotation, portion control and waste

About you

Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a busy café, restaurant or high-volume kitchen

Fast, organised, clean and calm when the orders start flying

A genuine team player who is also happy to work independently

Reliable and looking for a long-term home, not a stopgap

Takes pride in putting out good food, every time

Food Safety Supervisor certificate preferred, but we’ll help you to get it if you don’t have it yet

Availability (please read before applying) To keep the kitchen running smoothly, we need someone who can commit to:

School holidays and the Christmas/New Year period
