We're looking for the right person to join our crew.
We're not just a concrete pumping company. We build concrete swimming pools, retaining walls, carry out shotcrete works and pretty much everything in between.
Ideally, we're after someone who's been around concrete pumping or construction and considers themselves a bit of an all-rounder. Experience operating excavators or other machinery would be a bonus, but a willingness to learn is just as significant.
The main requirement is a minimum MR truck licence and someone who's confident driving a medium-sized, heavily loaded truck. You'll need to be willing to learn and assist with pumping different types of concrete and shotcrete.
We're big on keeping our gear clean, looking after equipment, taking pride in our work and constantly improving. I have fairly high expectations,
but I don't expect perfection. Mistakes happen, and that's fine. What matters is learning from them and not making the same mistakes over and over.
We're also not one of those pumping companies chasing 3–4 jobs a day. Most days are pretty cruisy. If we do one job, we're happy. If we do two, that's fine too. We're more interested in doing quality work than running around like headless chooks.
Ultimately, I'm looking for someone reliable, tidy, switched on and willing to have a go at anything. Someone who takes pride in themselves and wants to become better at what they do.
