- HR Operator (No Experience Required): $40.50/hr
- Experienced Relining Candidate with HR Licence: $43.74/hr

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated HR Operator to join a specialist pipeline rehabilitation team working across the Gold Coast region. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to develop skills in operating advanced robotic cutting equipment used in sewer, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure rehabilitation projects.

While previous cutter operating experience is advantageous, it is not essential. Full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a solid work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

This position plays a critical role in supporting pipeline rehabilitation crews, and successful candidates must be comfortable taking on additional responsibility and occasionally working longer hours to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with pipeline rehabilitation, repair, and maintenance works across sewer, stormwater, and wastewater networks.
- Operate and assist with specialized rehabilitation equipment, with a strong focus on robotic cutting technology.
- Support pipe relining, reinstatement, and rehabilitation activities.
- Conduct pipeline cutting, grinding, cleaning, sealing, and repair works.
- Complete pre-start inspections and ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Set up, operate, and pack down rehabilitation equipment and work areas.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and handling tools, equipment, and materials.
- Identify and report equipment faults, pipeline issues, and project risks.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Complete project documentation, checklists, and site records.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, site inductions, and safety initiatives.




- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

- Asbestos Awareness Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Hepatitis A & B Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)

Work Environment

This is a field-based role working around sewer, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure. Candidates must be comfortable working:

- Outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Around wastewater and sewer environments.
- Near heavy vehicles, plant, and specialized equipment.
- In physically demanding environments.
- In confined spaces when required.
- Across multiple client and project sites.
- As part of a small, close-knit operational crew.
