The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead its Namibian operation, drive commercial performance and support the continued growth of its presence in the market.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established iGaming or sports betting professional with a strong understanding of African gaming markets, business operations and the regulatory landscape.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the local operation, working closely with senior leadership to deliver business objectives, improve operational performance and achieve sustainable growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Lead the Namibian operation, ensuring strong commercial and operational performance.
- Develop and implement country-specific strategies aligned with the company's wider business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth, player acquisition, retention and overall market performance.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring teams deliver against agreed targets.
- Monitor commercial and operational KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead, develop and motivate local teams, establishing explicit expectations and accountability.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, business partners, suppliers and relevant industry bodies.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to strengthen the company's position in Namibia.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Compliance, CRM and other departments to support an integrated country strategy.
- Ensure business activities align with applicable gambling regulations, licensing requirements and responsible gambling standards.
- Represent the business in the Namibian market,



strengthening its industry presence and external relationships.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience and long-term business growth.

What We're Looking For

- Proven senior management experience within iGaming, online betting, sportsbook or a related gaming environment.
- Strong understanding of betting operations and the African iGaming landscape.
- Previous experience managing a country-level operation, business unit or significant commercial function.
- A strong commercial track record, with experience delivering revenue, player growth, operational and profitability targets.
- Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Understanding of gambling regulations, licensing and compliance requirements within African markets.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- The ability to work effectively across multiple departments and engage with senior leadership.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an established iGaming or sports betting leader who understands the challenges and opportunities of operating in African markets and can take ownership of a country's commercial and operational performance.

You will be commercially minded, proactive and confident in leading teams, making strategic decisions and identifying opportunities in a competitive market.

Experience in Namibia or other African iGaming markets will be highly advantageous, particularly for candidates who have successfully managed betting operations and delivered measurable business growth.
