About the Role

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide specialist critical care nursing across a range of Intensive Care Units within busy public and private hospitals.
You will work alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams to care for critically ill and high-acuity patients, utilising advanced clinical assessment, monitoring and critical thinking skills in fast-paced acute care environments.

Responsibilities may include:

- Delivering high-quality critical care nursing
- Managing ventilated and high-dependency patients
- Continuous patient assessment and monitoring
- Medication administration and complex clinical interventions
- Accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (or higher)
- Minimum 2 years recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
- Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
- Advanced clinical assessment and critical care skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work day, afternoon and night shifts
- Experience working within fast-paced critical care environments
- Full Australian working rights
