About the role

We are seeking experienced, commercially driven and passionate General Managers and Senior Venue Managers to join some of Sydney's most established and respected hospitality businesses. With opportunities spanning premium pubs, large-scale hospitality venues and multi-faceted operations, we are looking for outstanding leaders who have a genuine passion for hospitality, a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to build and inspire exceptional teams. Key responsibilities

- Provide leadership and strategic direction across all aspects of venue operations

- Take accountability for financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, labour management and cost control

- Recruit, lead, mentor and develop high-performing management and operational teams

- Drive exceptional standards across customer service, food and beverage, presentation and overall guest experience

- Identify and implement commercial initiatives to increase revenue and maximise business performance

- Manage multiple revenue streams, including food and beverage, gaming, functions and entertainment where applicable

- Develop effective operational systems, processes and performance standards

- Ensure compliance with NSW liquor licensing, gaming regulations, workplace safety and relevant legislation

- Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and key stakeholders

- Foster a positive,



engaging and accountable workplace culture that encourages staff development and retention

About you

- Proven experience as a General Manager, Venue Manager or senior hospitality leader within the pub or hospitality sector

- A solid understanding of the Sydney hospitality market and the commercial drivers of successful pub operations

- Demonstrated experience managing venue P&Ls;, budgets, labour costs and overall profitability

- A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop large and diverse hospitality teams

- Experience across food and beverage operations, with exposure to gaming, functions and entertainment highly regarded

- Strong business acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement

- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

- A genuine passion for delivering memorable guest experiences

- A hands-on, solutions-focused leadership style combined with the ability to think strategically

- Relevant NSW hospitality licensing and compliance qualifications, or eligibility to obtain them
