FindStaff are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Forklift Driver for our client based in Milperra NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy salvage and asset management operation with a strong reputation in the industry. This position offers ongoing work with the opportunity to secure permanent employment after 2-3 months for the right candidate.

Hours & Pay

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00pm
- $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
- Overtime opportunities available
- ASAP Start

About the Role

- Operating a heavy-duty forklift (7 tonne or larger)
- Loading and unloading heavy and oversized materials using extra-long tynes
- Safely moving and storing assets weighing in excess of 4,500kg
- Assisting with yard operations and material storage
- Completing general yard and labouring duties as required
- Following all site safety procedures and company policies
- Working closely with a team of 5 staff to ensure efficient operations

Skills & Experience

- Current LF Forklift Licence (LO advantageous)




- Proven experience operating 7 tonne or larger forklifts
- Previous experience in a salvage yard, recycling, transport, steel, waste management or similar heavy industrial environment
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to perform manual handling and general labouring duties
- Reliable transport and ability to commute to Milperra
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
