Cartage Australia is seeking experienced HC and MC Tipper Truck & Trailer Drivers to join our team working on the Suburban Rail Loop project across South East Melbourne.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, stable employment on a major infrastructure project with consistent hours and excellent earning potential.

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused drivers who can work in all weather conditions and take pride in delivering a professional service every day.

About the Role

- Operating 4, 5 and 6 axle tipper truck and trailer combinations
- Transporting quarry products, soil and construction materials
- Working across major infrastructure and civil construction sites
- Following all site, Chain of Responsibility and road safety requirements




- Maintaining vehicle presentation and completing daily compliance checks
- Working safely and efficiently in varying weather conditions, rain, hail or shine

What You'll Need

✅ Current HC or MC Licence

✅ Tipper experience preferred

✅ Construction White Card

✅ Ability to work 12-13 hour shifts on a regular basis

✅ Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

✅ Strong commitment to safety and compliance

✅ Consent to a pre-employment medical assessment

✅ Current National Police Check

✅ Recent VicRoads Driving History Report

Highly Regarded

✔️ Damstra Card

✔️ Experience on major civil or infrastructure projects

✔️ Truck & Dog experience

✔️ Good geographical knowledge of Melbourne and surrounding areas

✔️ Experience using electronic work diaries and transport apps
