- Full-Time Ongoing Cleaner position based at Melbourne Zoo

- Monday and Friday, 38 hours per week - 6am to 2:30pm including 1 RDO per month

- Salary from $59,796.12 / $30.1577 per hour plus Superannuation

Zoos Victoria operates four landmark zoos, Healesville Sanctuary, Kyabram Fauna Park, Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo. Melbourne Zoo operates a large site in Parkville that has a range of public areas, staff facilities, corporate offices, bathrooms, kitchens, indoor & outdoor dining facilities, 240Ltr Bin change overs on ground. These areas need to be maintained to the highest standards of presentation and hygiene.

We are seeking an experienced public area and office Cleaner with excellent customer service skills to be a part of our team.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have significant experience as a public area cleaner - large scale venues preferred

- Prior experience managing staff and a proven track record of confident, responsible decision-making





- Have experience with chemical handling and OHS compliance

- Be able to work as a team as well as autonomously

- Have an eye for detail

- Be versatile to work across a 7-day roster - weekends and public holidays, before, during and after business hours

- Have a current driver's licence.

- First Aid Level 1 certificate will be highly regarded
