We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Gladstone. This is a varied role involving customer service, front shop retail, stock control, ordering and general pharmacy duties.
You'll be someone who enjoys engaging with customers, having a chat and making people feel welcome. We value a positive attitude, a good sense of humour and someone who is happy to get involved in all aspects of the pharmacy.
Your duties will include:
- Providing friendly, genuine customer service and assisting customers with their needs.
- Serving customers and keeping the front shop tidy, organised and well presented.
- Ordering stock, receiving deliveries and maintaining stock levels.
- Assisting with pharmacy duties, including S3 medicine sales under the pharmacist's supervision.
- Helping with local deliveries and general day-to-day tasks.
About you
We're looking for someone who is approachable, reliable and enjoys working with people.
Good communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team are important. You should be comfortable chatting with customers, having a laugh and helping create a friendly atmosphere.
Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not essential. Retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but we're happy to train the right person and help them develop their skills.
