About the role
This role will work in the Customer's Network Engineering group, which is responsible for the core of the Customer's Existing Network, including 4G/5G packet, data & voice core, messaging services, real-time services, cloud infrastructure. This role is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This role is a full time senior project manager role and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several of the Customer's projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities
- Focus on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible
- Manage several projects concurrently
- Lead project meetings, steering committee meetings and planning sessions
- Coordinate staff and internal resources
- Manage project progress and adapt work as required
- Ensure projects meet deadlines
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Design and sign off on contracts
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Design risk mitigation plan
About you
- Five or more years' experience preferably working in the telecommunication industry
- One or several formal qualifications in Engineering/IT or Management
- Background working in telecommunications core network (Ericsson Mobile Core and Nokia CS Core) preferred
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to manage high stress situations
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously

- Technical understanding of telecommunications network
