About the role

UNDERCOVERGROUP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team in Kenthurst, NSW. This full-time position will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional commercial landscaping projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and oversee all aspects of the projects from inception through to completion and handover

- Develop project schedules, budgets and resource allocation plans to ensure projects remain on track and within financial constraints

- Manage stakeholder communications including clients, engineers, contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards, identifying and addressing risks and issues promptly

- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including contracts, specifications, drawings and compliance records

- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to ensure work is progressing safely and in accordance with approved plans and specifications

- Manage variations, change orders and contract administration to protect the company's interests whilst maintaining positive client relationships

- Recruit, supervise and coordinate onsite teams including subcontractors and specialists to ensure effective project execution

- Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies

- Manage project closeout activities including final inspections, defect resolution and archiving of project records

What we're looking for

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Project Manager within the commercial landscaping or construction industry, managing projects of similar scope and complexity





- Strong knowledge of landscaping and construction methodologies, building practices, relevant codes and industry standards

- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling and budgeting

- Excellent understanding of contract management and commercial negotiations within construction environments

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels

- Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite and construction-specific systems

- Current White Card or equivalent construction site safety qualification

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing risks and resolving issues

- A commitment to health, safety and environmental best practice in all project delivery

- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Landscaping or a related discipline are highly regarded
