About the role
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Litigation and Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join our growing team at our Parramatta NSW office on a full-time basis. This is an excellent prospect for a legal professional who is passionate about dispute resolution and keen to build a rewarding career in litigation. You will play a key role in providing strategic legal advice and representation to our clients across a broad spectrum of commercial and civil disputes. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and intellectually challenging matters, whilst working alongside experienced practitioners who are committed to your professional development.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting legal research and preparing written legal advice on litigation and dispute resolution matters for clients and internal stakeholders

- Drafting and preparing legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, contractual documentation and submissions

- Representing clients in negotiations, mediation, arbitration and court proceedings

- Providing strategic advice on dispute resolution options and assisting clients in evaluating the risks and benefits of litigation





- Conducting client meetings and conferences to gather information and provide legal guidance

- Managing case files and maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with firm procedures and legal requirements

- Liaising with opposing counsel, courts, mediators and other third parties as required

- Conducting discovery and evidence management as part of dispute resolution processes

- Contributing to the development of case strategy and providing input on settlement negotiations

- Assisting with the review and analysis of commercial contracts to identify and mitigate legal risks

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years post-admission experience in litigation and dispute resolution practice

- Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidence law and litigation practice rules

- Excellent research, writing and analytical skills with the ability to distil complex legal concepts into clear and practical advice

- Exceptional oral communication and advocacy skills

- A client-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships

- Proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office applications

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines concurrently





- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal work

- A proactive, collaborative approach to working with colleagues and a willingness to support team objectives

- Experience in specific areas such as commercial disputes, contractual disputes, employment law, or insurance law would be advantageous
