About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse 2IC who thrives on the warehouse floor, leads by example, and enjoys developing people and improving processes.

Reporting directly to the DC Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations, coaching supervisors, driving performance, and helping create a positive and productive team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their leadership career within a business that promotes from within and invests in its people.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting and developing a team of warehouse supervisors and team members.
- Leading from the front and fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
- Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, replenishment, and workflow management.
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service.




- Maintaining accurate inventory management and stock control processes.
- Championing workplace safety and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements.
- Working closely with the DC Manager and wider business to achieve operational goals.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and helping shape the future of our operation.

What You'll Bring

- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- A solid understanding of inventory management and replenishment functions.
- Excellent communication and people leadership skills.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for developing others.
- Robust problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Forklift license highly regarded.
