About the role

Join Capri Medical Centre as a Practice Nurse on a casual basis. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients at our medical practice located on the beautiful Isle of Capri, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting doctors with clinical procedures and examinations

- Undertaking basic clinical observations and measurements

- Providing education and advice to patients on health-related matters

- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

- Ensuring the clinic's nursing equipment and supplies are well-stocked and in good condition

- Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care

What we're looking for

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar clinical setting





- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals

- Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks and priorities

- A compassionate, patient-centric approach to nursing care

- Familiarity with general practice nursing duties and procedures
