Deli Team Member – Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time

Love great food and helping customers? Adelaide’s Finest Supermarkets Pasadena is seeking a friendly, reliable and energetic Deli Team Member to join our busy team.

One position is available, offered as either permanent part-time or full-time, depending on the successful applicant’s availability and agreed working arrangements.

This hands-on role combines customer service and food preparation in a fast-paced environment where quality, presentation and teamwork matter.

About the role

Reporting to the Deli Department Manager, you will help prepare, present and sell our premium deli and cheese products while maintaining a clean, secure and well-stocked department.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing warm, knowledgeable and efficient customer service

- Preparing, slicing, weighing, packaging and presenting deli products, including safely operating commercial meat-slicing equipment following training

- Cutting and grating cheeses and preparing quality deli and cheese platters

- Preparing deli rolls and panini neatly and efficiently during busy periods

- Replenishing displays, rotating stock and assisting with opening, closing and daily department duties

- Maintaining high food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards while working collaboratively with the team

What we’re looking for





We would love to hear from applicants who bring:

- A friendly, customer-focused approach, with previous customer service experience highly regarded

- Previous deli and cheese experience highly regarded, including slicing, cheese cutting, food preparation or platter presentation

- Attention to detail and pride in product quality and presentation

- The ability to work efficiently, accurately and calmly in a busy environment

- Reliability, initiative and a commitment to teamwork and safe food handling

- The ability to safely perform the role’s physical tasks, including lifting, moving and handling products and stock

Availability

You must be available to work at least 30 hours per week, across weekdays and weekends, with the flexibility to start between 6.30 am and 7.30 am.
