About the role

This is a full-time, hands-on position involving the operation and maintenance of agricultural mobile plant and equipment within a busy grain storage and handling facility.

Key responsibilities

- Safely operate front-end loaders, telehandlers, tractors and other agricultural mobile plant.

- Load and unload grain trucks and assist with grain receival and outturn operations.

- Move and manage grain stockpiles within storage facilities.

- Operate machinery and equipment associated with grain storage and export container packing.

- Assist with the operation of grain augers, conveyors, and associated equipment.

- Conduct daily machinery pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks.

- Identify and report mechanical faults, hazards, and maintenance requirements.

- Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company operating requirements.

- Work collaboratively with site management and other team members to ensure efficient daily operations.

About you

- Previous experience operating agricultural mobile plant, including front-end loaders, telehandlers or tractors.

- Experience in agriculture, grain handling, bulk commodities, or a similar operational environment.





- Ability to safely operate and inspect machinery.

- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.

- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently when required.

- Willingness to work additional hours during peak harvest periods.

- Relevant machinery licences, qualifications, or competency certifications (desirable).

- Previous experience working at grain receival or storage facilities (desirable).

- Current driver's licence (desirable).
