Short Order Burger Co Perth CBD is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, confident Shift Supervisor to join our team!

We’re open seven days a week. We are very passionate about great burgers, quality food and warm, welcoming service. If you’re comfortable in both the kitchen and front of house, enjoy leading a team and thrive in a busy hospitality environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll lead by example, support your team and keep each shift running smoothly. You’ll take a hands on approach to food preparation and customer service, helping create a positive workplace and a great experience for every customer.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and inspiring the team to deliver friendly, efficient service.

- Supporting kitchen and front of house operations during busy shifts.

- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness and food safety.

- Delegating tasks, prioritising workloads and keeping the team organised.

- Coaching team members and addressing performance concerns constructively.





- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues calmly and professionally.

- Solving day to day problems and making sound decisions independently.

- Completing routine shift administration using basic computer skills.

About you

You bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to your team and customers. You’ll also need:

- At least 2 years of kitchen experience.

- At least 2 years of hospitality supervisory experience.

- Experience working across the kitchen and front of house in a fast paced hospitality setting.

- The confidence to lead a happy, productive team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational and problem solving skills, with the ability to work unsupervised.

- A reliable approach and a track record of excellent customer service.

- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.

- Availability to work 20–25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
