? Locum Occupational Therapist - Community & Home Based | Regional Victoria ?

We're working with a highly supportive regional health service seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 6-month fixed term contract within their Rural Allied Health Team. Accommodation is available, making this a fantastic opportunity for both experienced locums and clinicians looking to transition into regional community health work.

? $45 - $53 per hour + super
✅ ADOs, annual leave & sick leave included

? Regional Victoria location
? 6-12 month fixed term contract

In this role, you'll work with frail aged clients and people living with disability to maximise independence and safety at home through practical, client-centred interventions. The role is primarily community and home visit based with some clinic appointments.

You'll be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary Rural Allied Health Team delivering services across CHSP, HACC-PYP and limited NDIS funding streams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Home safety and functional assessments
- Home modifications and assistive technology prescription
- Scooter and wheelchair assessments
- Care planning and goal setting to support independent living




- Working closely with carers, families and multidisciplinary clinicians
- Supporting clients to remain active within their local community
- Collaborating with Allied Health Assistants for therapy programs and equipment trials

Key Skills & Experience:

- Community Occupational Therapy experience
- Home visiting experience
- Knowledge of Australian Building Standards
- Experience with home modifications and equipment prescription
- Familiarity with Geat2GO and SWEP
- Strong care planning and independent caseload management skills
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Current driver's licence
