ITAC is seeking an experienced and professional marriage celebrant to join our team as a trainer and assessor. This is a part time WFH role, with scope to increase to full-time by negotiation if desired and available.

About the role
This role involves supporting adult learners studying celebrancy through marking, feedback, student support, webinars, progress monitoring, and related academic tasks. You will work closely with a friendly and experienced team and contribute to the successful launch and delivery of this new qualification.
Trainer experience is not required. Full training and mentoring in our systems and approach will be provided. However, strong celebrancy industry experience is essential.

Key responsibilities
- Mark assessments and provide clear, useful feedback
- Support students by phone, email and webinar
- Monitor student progress and follow up where required
- Assist with webinar delivery and student learning support
- Maintain accurate records and follow internal systems and procedures
- Contribute to course improvement and resource refinement
- Participate in induction, training and professional development
Essential criteria
- Substantial experience as a marriage celebrant in Australia
- Must have personally delivered a large number of weddings
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, as required for the role (or be willing to complete)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills across phone, email and video
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for part-time work
Desirable
- Experience conducting funerals or other ceremonial services
- Experience supporting, mentoring or training adults
- Experience in vocational education or online learning environments
